Officially entering the vibrant scene in the Lion City with a major show led by a globally-recognized icon.
Ovation Productions, one of the major concert producers based in the Philippines, is making a big leap as it expands to another Southeast Asian country, Singapore.
For its inaugural show in the island city-state, the team will be bringing the iconic diva, Mariah Carey, as part of her ‘The Celebration of Mimi’ tour.
Bogie de Guia, Managing Director at Ovation Productions Pte. Ltd. shared, “We are incredibly excited to finally bring Mariah Carey—an icon whose music has resonated with millions worldwide—to Singapore.”
He also added that the show will also mark a major milestone for the company as they officially begin their journey into the Singaporean concert scene and tease that it would only be the beginning.
“Our goal is to deliver more world-class entertainment experiences to local audiences. While bringing Mariah has been a dream years in the making, what excites us even more is the chance to win the hearts of the Singaporean audience—and this is just the first of many unforgettable moments we’re bringing to the city,” De Guia furthered.
Mariah Carey’s ‘The Celebration of Mimi’ is set to take place from 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at ARENA @ EXPO, with the landmark concert touted as one that will “honor Mariah’s illustrious career and showcase her signature vocals in a night of glamour, nostalgia, and spectacular production.”
During the show, the singer’s greatest hits will be highlighted alongside her latest single, and fans will embark on a seamless journey through Mariah’s five-octave range.
The producers also promised “breathtaking vocal fireworks, tender ballads, and infectious up-tempo groove that will be brought to life with cutting-edge production, dynamic lighting, and immersive video backdrops.”
Intimate storytelling segments will also give Mariah the spotlight to share her personal insights and memories behind her most beloved songs.
General tickets for this event will be available starting August 20, 2025 at 10:00 am via the Sistic.com.sg website.
