She was quick to say that it did not come from her, but left a much nuanced take on the matter.

She was quick to say that it did not come from her, but left a much nuanced take on the matter.

In a now-viral post on social network platform Facebook, actress-advocate Nadine Lustre shared post from another page, which quoted her and used her image for the topic of “mirror method.”

In the said content uploaded by a page called “Chismis Vlogs,” Nadine allegedly told that she started using the said method as a way to protect herself from people who do not equal—or mirror—her well intentions towards them.

That original post has already garnered over 185,000 reactions, which clearly was enough of a reason for it to be noticed by the “Internet’s President.

Through her account, Nadine simply wrote: “parang di ko naman po sinabi yan…

She continued in the comments section, “‘tong mga chismis blogs na to makapag post lang talaga ng content eh.. baka sa Q4 buntis nanaman ako ha?

The popular artist also quipped about her knowing another “mirror” instead of the one in the content.

‘Di ko nga alam kung ano yung mirror method na yan. [Ang] alam ko lang Mirror Mirror by M2M.”

But on a serious note, Lustre dedicated another status update as regards to the “mirror method.”

Just my two cents on the matter tho… I honestly don’t believe in mirroring coldness just because someone chose to forget, ignore, or not show up,” she began.

For her, doing a good act towards other people doesn’t need to be reciprocated, as it is something that a person would do for their own self.

Para sa akin, hindi mo kailangang suklian ang kakulangan ng iba. Mas mahalaga pa rin na piliin mong maging mabuti, kahit walang kapalit. Because kindness isn’t for them, it’s for YOUR soul.

She furthered, “If sinaktan ka, and it’s gotten to the point where you no longer speak, still… always wish them well. You can cut them off. You don’t have to go back. You don’t have to reconnect. But you can let go with love. You can walk away without carrying heaviness in your heart.

The actress also noted, “It’s not resentment that sets you free. It’s the quiet, steady peace of knowing you’ve already forgiven them, even if they never asked.”

You let go not because they deserve it,
but because YOU deserve peace,” she emphasized.

Nadine also shared as an advice, “Take care of your soul, not your ego. Remember, hindi yung kapwa mo yung nagkkeep tabs, It’s the universe.”

So keep choosing light. Keep choosing love. That’s where true healing lives. Trust me, life is so much better when you do this,” she imparted to her followers.

Her recent posts have since gained hundreds of thousands of reactions from netizens, who were mesmerized to see her maturity and eloquence, especially with the advice that she gave.

Meanwhile, Nadine Lustre is currently active on television via the ongoing weekend show ‘Masked Singer Pilipinas’ on TV5.

She will also be part of the upcoming 51st Metro Manila Film Festival thorough the movie ‘Call Me Mother,’ where she will reunite with Vice Ganda exactly ten years after ‘Beauty and the Bestie’ and will be directed by Jun Robles Lana.
