Becoming the next members of the band to enlist.

In an advisory posted on Tuesday, July 8, Korean music management company Pledis Entertainment announced the future plans of SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi.

According to the agency, both K-pop stars will formally begin their mandatory military service this September.

Hoshi is said to he entering first on September 15, with Woozi set to be conscripted the following day.

Pledis also disclosed that both members would be doing their scheduled activities, including the ‘Warning’ fan-concert of their sub-unit, HOSHI X WOOZI, and the video call event together with the rest of SEVENTEEN.

Following the start of their military service, they will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN’s group activities. However, they will continue to stay connected with CARAT through a variety of pre-recorded content,” the company added in its statement, as translated by Soompi.

With respect to the families and loved ones of other enlistees, fans have been asked to refrain from visiting Hoshi and Woozi during their send-off ceremony and instead deliver their messages via the fan interaction app Weverse.

The duo will become the latest members to enter the military service, with Jeonghan joining in late 2024 and Wonwoo in April 2025.

Last March, they debuted as Hoshi × Woozi, the group’s third spinoff of the group after BSS–which also includes Hoshi, along with Seungkwan and DK—and JxW of Jeonghan and Wonwoo.

That month, they dropped their first single entitled ‘Beam’.
