Heads up for the fans of the popular reality show.
According to the scheduling guide provided by the program itself, ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab’ will be aired on a time slot for penultimate Saturday night for this season.
On June 28, the program will be seen at a much later time of 9:30 pm on GMA’s free-to-air channel, Kapuso Stream, and ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Online Live.
This, as the Kapuso network launches its new dance competition ‘Stars On The Floor’ at 7:15 pm, resulting to the long-running sitcom ‘Pepito Manaloto’ being brought forward to the 6:15 pm leadoff spot for the Sabado Star Power sa Gabi block.
Not only that, ABS-CBN platforms will also be greeting a refreshed grid on the same night, with the quiz game program ‘Rainbow Rumble’ returning for its latest season at 6:15 pm, followed by the first-ever edition of ‘Idol Kids Philippines’ at 7:15 pm.
With ‘PBB Celebrity Collab’ airing on Kapamilya Online Live, the ABS-CBN current affairs program ‘Tao Po’ will occupy the 9:30 pm slot right after ‘MMK’ on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.
The latest move in a series of time slot changes follows the axing of the Sunday broadcast—the first in the franchise’s history—earlier this month and the move of the weekday primetime show every 9:35 pm on GMA platforms from June 16 onwards.
It is widely speculated among the fans and observers that both of these came as the program received extension, as it was originally intended to hold its Big Night in June, but the that was ultimately pushed back to July 5.
That, in itself, is also thought as a way to prevent scheduling conflicts, as ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ had just finished its own run last June 22 with back-to-back live shows, as well as the consecutive launches on June 28 on both networks.
At present, confirmed as part of the ‘PBB Celebrity Collab’ Big 4 duos are CharEs (Charlie Fleming and Esnyr Ranollo) and RaWi (Ralph de Leon and Will Ashley).
Meanwhile, the fate of the three remaining pairs, BreKa (Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca), DusBi (Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera), and AzVer (AZ Martinez and River Joseph) have yet to be determined through the last two Big Jump challenges.
