aespa drops new single ‘Dirty Work’

All-female Korean pop group aespa released through their music label SM Entertainment their comeback single on Friday, June 27.

The new dance-pop song entitled ‘Dirty Work’ serves as their summer comeback this year, with the K-pop group also publishing a music video on YouTube.

Six hours after it was uploaded, the over three-minute-long clip has gained over 4.9 million views and landed the 23rd spot in the Trending for Music tab of the said platform.

Alongside the original version in Korean, aespa also shared the English-language edition of the new track and another that fearures Flo Milli.

‘Dirty Work’ follows the group’s successive hit songs in 2024, which comprised of ‘Armageddon,’ ‘Supernova,’ and ‘Whiplash’.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment also announced on Friday that pre-orders for aespa’s comeback single album reached 1.01 million, becoming the group’s sixth million-selling album.

aespa is four-member team composed of Ningning, Giselle, Karina, and Winter and made their debut with ‘Black Mamba’ in 2020.

After which, their discography grew as they released the popular K-pop tracks like ‘Next Level,’ ‘Savage,’ ‘Girls,’ ‘Spicy,’ and ‘Drama.’
