Before the Filipino singer debuts with his K-pop group.
P-pop idol JL Gaspar is set to drop his solo single this month, music publishing company Universal Records Philippines announced on Wednesday, June 4.
Titled ‘Alon,’ the song has been dubbed as an “emotional pop anthem” as the 21-year-old singer-perform embarks on a new chapter in his journey as a member of the K-pop group AHOF.
Moreover, the song was recorded prior to his participation in the South Korean survival program ‘Universe League,’ where he finished as the number 1 by the end of the show.
‘Alon’ will be released on Friday, June 6, serving as one of his activities in the countrty this month.
Gaspar is the youngest of six members of P-pop boy band PLUUS, which debuted in the local scene back in March 2023 under SBTown.
The group has released songs like ‘Amigo,’ ‘My Time,’ and ‘Cross My Heart.’
Meanwhile, in AHOF, he will be forming the nine-man team alongside Cha Woongki, Park Han, Steven, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Juwon, Seo Jeongwoo, Chih En, and Daisuke.
In the weeks leading up to their debut in July, the members will first be participating in the 2025 My KFESTA, scheduled to happen on June 19.
