He was supposed to celebrate his 51st birthday today.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Sandy Sternberg, the wife of ’90s heatthrob and Kiko of the youth-oriented show ‘T.G.I.S,’ Red Sternberg, announced a sad news about him.
The photo below displayed Sternberg’s photo, along with the date of his passing, which was last Tuesday, May 27.
The caption read, “It is hard to find the words right now to say that this has been the most difficult time I have ever gone through my whole life.”
“To be greeted “happy birthday” and “sorry for your loss” at the same time three consecutive days of what was supposed to be a celebration full of birthdays. May was our month! 5th, 28th, 29th and 30th,” Sandy added.
His wife also requested, “Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. I would kindly request our need for privacy at this time as we navigate this difficult journey.”
Sandy further shared that memorial arrangements will be shared soon.
Following the news, Red’s ‘T.G.I.S.’ co-stars Angelou de Leon and Michael Flores added a black image with the word “Kiko” and three broken hearts to their Instagram story.
Series director Mark Reyes also posted Red Sternberg’s photo and tagged other members of the crew, including Bobby Andrews, Rica Peralejo, Ciara Sotto, and Bernadette Allyson-Estrada.
