The show marks the comeback of a Kapamilya leading man.
In a teaser trailer released on Friday, May 23, ABS-CBN Studios and its drama unit JRB Creative Production unveiled the initial premise of its upcoming series.
Titled ‘Sins Of The Father,’ the program will tackle an investment scam spearheaded by John Arcilla’s character.
Also seen in the 45-second preview is actor Gerald Anderson, who will be portraying the role of Arcilla’s son in the drama, whose life will change in light of the act.
The crime-thriller drama will mark Anderson’s teleserye comeback, more than two years after he starred in ‘A Family Affair’ with Ivana Alawi, Sam Milby, Jake Ejercito, and Jameson Blake in 2022.
In this project, Gerald will be joining forces with his two former leading ladies, Jessy Mendiola-Manzano and Shaina Magdayao.
He previously worked with Jessy in ‘Budoy’ in 2011, while Shaina was his partner in ‘Nathaniel’ that aired in 2015.
Aside from them, also reported to be part of ‘Sins Of The Father’ are JC De Vera, Tirso Cruz III, RK Bagatsing, Soliman Cruz, Joko Diaz, Nico Antonio, Jerald Napoles, Francine Diaz, and Seth Fedelin.
The series will be under the direction of FM Reyes and is slated for broadcast this 2025.
