Fans will get to see the dramatization of her personal story.
As per the latest update regarding the upcoming comeback of Asia’s longest-running drama anthology, ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya,’ hosted by Charo Santos, the first two stories of the season have been confirmed.
Episode 1, as it was previously disclosed, will center around the life of ‘The Voice US’ champion Sofronio Vasquez, who will star Elijah Canlas and Romnick Sarmenta.
Meanwhile, in a future installment of the limited series, Blooms would definitely tune in to witness the story of Sheena Catacutan, one of the 8 members of the ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ BINI.
At present, no further details have been revealed as to who will portray her in the ‘MMK’ dramatization.
This development comes months after Charo, herself, talked to the members behind the stage at the ‘Grand Biniverse’ concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
During that moment, she quipped about putting the life of each BINI star for what was then-rumored ‘MMK’ comeback.
‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ debuted on then-ABS-CBN channel 2 in May 1991, and lasted 31 years on the air before it was announced that the show would be ending its storied run in December 2022.
The comeback season of ‘MMK’ will initially consist of 13 episodes and is scheduled to begin airing on April 24 via iWantTFC and April 26 at 8:30 pm on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live.
