She proudly shared her sexuality to her fellow housemates and the public.
In the episode that aired last Wednesday, April 2, singer Klarisse de Guzman revealed during a heart-to-heart session inside the ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ house a personal matter.
“Tingin ko ito na ‘yung time para sabihin sa inyong lahat and to tell the world that I’m not straight. I am [bisexual],” the finalist of ‘The Voice of the Philippines’ season 1 disclosed.
‘Ate Klang,’ as she is endearingly called by her fellow ‘PBB Celebrity Collab’ housemates, also told the name of her partner of four years, Trina.
The singer then recollected her ‘coming out’ moment to her family, which she described as an easy phase.
“Hindi ako nahirapan sa phase na ‘yon. Even most of my relatives, alam.”
This moment happened during the stay of Kapuso actress-singer Michelle Dee, who was latest celebrity houseguest of the season.
Notably, Dee herself came out as bisexual after her win in the national Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant.
Online, Klarisse’s partner Christrina Rey uploaded snapshots of them together, along with a lengthy message.
Trina expressed her gratitude to their family, close relatives, and friends for their love and support to their relationship.
She also said thanks “To those people who supported Klang from the very beginning up to this point, I pray that you embrace and love her even more. Thank you Klarissenatics.”
“Messages, posts, and to her NEW supporters, I may not be able to thank you all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and acceptance. Nakakataba ng puso ang inyong pagtanggap,” Trina added.
Meanwhile, she also put up a message to her “special girl,” Klarisse, telling that the ‘PBB’ housemate “deserves freedom, peace, love, and respect. This has never been easy, but you made us all proud.”
“Hindi mo lang pinalaya ang sarili mo, binuo mo ang pagkatao ko. Hindi man maintindihan ng lahat, pero mas dumami naman ang nagmamahal sa iyo,” with Christrina adding that she misses Klarrise, whom she called ‘Chef‘.
“Mabuhay ka! Salamat at nagkulay bahaghari ang gabi. Mahal ka namin. Whatever happens, you are my big winner ay ipinagmamalaki kita,” Trina Rey ended her message.
