The paths of the Asian pop groups have once again crossed.
On Monday, March 3, P-pop group BINI uploaded on its official social media pages a new video, much to the delight of Blooms and Engenes, fans of Korean band ENHYPEN.
This, as Filipina idols Maloi, Colet, and Sheena did a cover of their new single, ‘Blink Twice,’ with K-pop stars Jake and Jungwon.
“Yeah, no doubt… it’s Blink Twice feveeeeer!Add a little spice and join BINI x [ENHYPEN] in the BINI Blink Twice DC,” the post read.
Since its upload at 6:00 pm, the video has amassed over a 1.5 million views on X (formerly Twitter), and 200,000 likes on Instagram.
The video was taken during ENHYPEN’s recent ‘Walk The Line’ concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan last Saturday, March 1, which was attended by the three BINI members.
This encounter also marked the second interaction between the Asian music acts, as they previously made a collaboration back in July 2024.
During that moment, BINI’s Colet, Stacey, Sheena made a dance cover of ‘XO (If You Only Say Yes’ together with ENHYPEN’s Heeseung, Jay, and Sunoo.
The seven-member group, composed of Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Jungwon, Sunwoo, and Ni-ki, was formed through the survival reality show ‘I-Land’ and made their official debut in November 2020.
The group is known for their songs like ‘Given-Taken,’ ‘Drunk-Dazed,’ ‘Tamed-Dashed,’ ‘Blessed-Cursed,’ ‘Future Perfect (Pass The Mic),’ ‘Polaroid Love,’ ‘Bite Me,’ ‘Sweet Venom,’ ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes),’ and ‘No Doubt.’
Meanwhile, BINI is an 8-member group that was launched in 2021 and is composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
BINI gained significant popularity after their successive songs ‘Pantropiko,’ ‘Salamin, Salamin,’ and ‘Cherry On Top’ smashed streaming records in the Philippines in 2024.
They recently dropped their new extended play, ‘Biniverse,’ which includes the song ‘Blink Twice,’ ‘Zero Pressure,’ and ‘Secrets’ featuring eaJ.
