The power couple did this in front of their inner circle.
On Monday, December 30, Kapuso primetime royalties Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
To mark the occasion, the couple renewed their vows at the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral in Quezon City, a ceremony witnessed by their 9-year-old daughter Zia and 6-year-old son Sixto.
The said church was also the very same location of their wedding that took place on December 30, 2014.
In an Instagram post, Dingdong wrote: “It has been a meaningful 10-year journey for us. Today, we honor those who have stood by us, prayed for us, and guided us to where we are now. As we step into the next chapters, we carry with us a stronger spirit, with His blessings forever at the center of it all.”
Dingdong and Marian, also known as the pair ‘DongYan,’ first starred together in the top-rated series ‘Marimar’ in 2007, and went on to work together in more projects like drama serials ‘Dyesebel’ and ‘My Beloved,’ and the movie ‘You To Me Are Everything’.
In 2012, they got engaged in Macau, a milestone that took them two years to publicly share during an episode of Rivera’s self-titled variety show.
A year into their marriage, they welcomed their first child, Zia, in December 2015.
She was later followed by Sixto, who was born in 2018.
In 2023, Marian and Dingdong starred in the highest-grossing Metro Manila Film Festival entry, ‘Rewind,’ which recorded over Php 900 million in the box-office.
