The members of the K-pop group reunited for a Christmas present for AROHAs.
On Christmas Eve, December 24, Korean pop group ASTRO dropped the re-recording of the band’s almost six-year-old song titled ‘Merry-Go-Round.’
The single was originally released as part of the band’s first full-length studio album ‘All Light,’ issued in January 2019.
In the said special clip, members MJ, Jinjin, Eunwoo, and Sanha wore their Christmas-themed outfits and sang from different locations.
The re-recorded version of ‘Merry-Go-Round’ is the K-pop group’s second release in 2024, following their 8th anniversary song ‘Circles’ last February 2024.
ASTRO originally debuted eight years ago with six members: the four abovementioned musicans plus Moonbin and Rocky.
Rocky left the group in February last year, while Moonbin passed away at the age of 25 on April 19, 2023.
Throughout the years, the group released multiple albums, with the first being titled ‘Spring Up’ which had ‘Hide&Seek’ as its lead single.
They went on to churn out tracks like ‘Breathless,’ ‘Confession,’ ‘Again,’ ‘Baby,’ ‘Crazy, Sexy, Cool,’ ‘Always,’ ‘All Night,’ ‘Blue Flame,’ ‘Knock,’ ‘ONE,’ ‘After Midnight,’ and ‘Candy Sugar Pop.’
Currently, the four members are focusing on their individual activities.
