In an announcement on Friday, December 20, San Miguel Corporation shared that it is waiving toll fees in its expressways during select dates this holiday season.

SMC shared that it will not be collecting fees from motorists from 10:00 pm of December 24 until 6:00 am of December 25, and from 10:00 pm of December 31 until 6:00 am of January 1, 2025.

The free toll will apply to SMC-operated expressways, namely the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Skyway, Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR), NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX).

SMC Chairman and CEO Ramon S. Ang said that it is the company’s way of saying thanks to the thousands that pass through their roadways everyday.

“This is our way of saying thank you to everyone who uses the expressways we operate. It’s something we look forward to every year because it helps thousands of motorists get home to their families a little easier, especially during Christmas and New Year,” Ang said.
