They have welcomed the fourth member of their growing family.
Through a post on his official fan community, Korean actor Song Joong Ki announced the birth of their second child in Rome, Italy.
““I’m currently in Rome and it’s been only a little over a year since I met my first baby here, but I’m so thankful that I’ve met another beautiful baby,” the actor wrote in his statement.
He then described her first daughter as “[our] lovely princess” and happily shared that she was born healthy.
“Both my wife and our baby are in good health and resting well,” he added.
It was in July 2024 when Song, through the same fan café, confirmed that they are expecting their second child.
The news came over a year after the delivery lf their firstborn son, who was also born in Rome, in June 2023.
Song and Saunders were first reported to be dating in 2022, which was later confirmed in January 2023 — along with the news of their marriage and first pregnancy.
Song Joong Ki is known for his portrayals in Korean drama serials like ‘Innocent Man,’ ‘Descendants of the Sun,’ ‘Arthdal Chronicles,’ ‘Vincenzo,’ and ‘Reborn Rich.’
Meanwhile, Katy Louise Saunders also works as an actress and model in Europe, and had starred in films like ‘The Lizzie McGuire Movie,’ ‘The Borgia,’ and ‘Third Person,’ as per her IMDb profile.
