The American R&B singer-songwriter is back in Manila.
Certified hitmaker Ne-Yo is finally back in Manila this week to stage his two-night ‘Champagne and Roses’ concert.
The American singer-songwriter will be holding the event on Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
‘Champagne and Roses’ marks Ne-Yo’s return to the Philippines after his single-day back-to-back concert in January 2023.
That previous concert also served as a reunion between him and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
Back then, they recreated the highlight of Gray’s coronation night moment that was Ne-Yo’s performance of his hit 2006 song ‘Miss Independent.’
Ne-Yo, born Shaffer Smith, is known for being behind some of the most popular songs in the 2000s, such as ‘Because Of You,’ ‘Closer,’ ‘Miss Independent,’ ‘So Sick,’ ‘Mad,’ and ‘Sexy Love,’ among others.
He also notably wrote hit singles for other artists, such as ‘Irreplaceable’ for Beyoncé, ‘Take A Bow’ for Rihanna, and Mario’s ‘Let Me Love You.’
