ShowBT opens audition for ‘3Way Project’ Filipino member

The process is now underway.

ShowBT Philippunes, which is home to Filipina female pop group YGIG, and formerly to ‘Kings of P-pop’ SB19, is currently leading the search for the new member that will join a Korean pop group.

In a social media callout, ShowBT posted details about the auditions, which it said would be for an upcoming boy group currently named ‘3Way Project.’

As per the information provided, “3Way is an idol group that aims to connect different cultures and nations for never-ending possibilities.”

Team members are composed of 5 Korean and 3 Japanese members, with an undisclosed amount of spots dedicated for Filipino members.

The auditions are open to all aspiring male K-pop idols aged 16 to 25 years old or those born between 1999 to 2008.

Those who aim to join the audition should produce two dance videos and a separate video of them singing.

The process for the submission of audition videos had already begun last Wednesday, August 14 and will run until August 24, with pre-screening immediately taking place after the deadline.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed on the 26th, with an audition day scheduled to happen on the 31st of August.

ShowBT has also revealed the identities of the 8 members already part of the line-up: Leno, Donghyun, Xiho, Hyecheon, Ryo, Jeong Yoon, Wooseok, Rintaro

3Way is under the management of Nine Two Entertainment in South Korea, with the band’s debut date yet to be announced.
