Two of the Philippines’ popular singers have teamed-up for the concert.
On the weekend of Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, 2024, ‘Ang Ating Tinig,’ the concert featuring SB19 member Stell Ajero and “Asia’s Limitless Star” Julie Anne San Jose, will take place at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
The said concert marks the first joint concert top billed by the musicians, who were both part of the reality-singing competition ‘The Voice Generations’ as coaches of their respective teams.
According to an interview with GMA News, the duo shared that it was through the said show where the idea of having a concert together was first formed.
Stell said that it was the impromptu duet between him and Julie during the blind auditions that gave rise to the concept of ‘Ang Ating Tinig.’
Speaking of which, they are set to reunite in the upcoming season of ‘The Voice Kids,’ which will air for the first time on GMA, after being with ABS-CBN for the past decade.
Aside from the two of them, Billy Crawford will reprise his role as a coach, along with host Dingdong Dantes.
Stell’s SB19 bandmate Pablo Nase will join as the fourth coach for the inaugural ‘Voice Kids’ season on GMA.
