He made a surprise visit to the show last Saturday.
On Saturday, March 2, Quezon City 1st District Representative and actor Arjo Atayde made a surprise TV appearance via ‘Eat Bulaga’ on TV5.
Atayde was the last special guest of the special episode dedicated to his wife, ‘EB’ host Maine Mendoza, who celebrated her 29th birthday in advance.
Before stepping foot inside the studio, ‘The Bagman’ star first sent a video greeting to Maine, which was played earlier in the program.
A few hours later, he was introduced by Vic Sotto as a star in a fictitious movie titled ‘May Forever.’
At first, Maine was oblivious, but as she turned her head around, she was visibly stunned to discover the her husband was the one to emanate from behind the screens.
Arjo then played in the segment ‘Peraphy,’ where Maine revealed that the actor even asked her a few days prior about how the mechanics of the game work.
The ‘EB dabarkad’ shared that she explained, but did not realize the reason why Arjo asked the question in the first place.
Later in the segment, Arjo sang the ‘Happy Birthday’ song his way for Maine.
By the end of the game, Arjo won Php 20,000, which he distributed to four lucky studio audience.
Arjo and Maine began dating in 2018, got engaged in 2022, and tied the knot last July in an intimate ceremony attended by their friends, family, close friends in Baguio City.
