It’s time to “Yoonite,” SONEs!
Idol-actress Im Yoona of the legendary second-generation Korean pop girl group Girls’ Generation is coming to the Philippines early next year.
This, as she brings her ‘Yoonite’ fan meeting tour to Manila on March 1, 2024. The said event will take place at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Currently, ticketing details and seat plan, among other details, are not yet available.
Aside from Manila, Yoona will also make stops in other Asian cities like her home base in Seoul, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Yokohama, Bangkok, and Jakarta.
Yoona is one of the eight members of Girls’ Generation, which in turn was launched in 2007 with their debut track ‘Into The New World’.
They then went on to release a bunch of hit tracks, including ‘Gee,’ ‘Genie,’ ‘Oh!,’ ‘The Boys,’ ‘I Gotta Boy,’ ‘Mr. Mr.,’ ‘Party,’ ‘Lion Heart,’ and ‘Holiday,’ among others.
In 2022, they made their comeback in time for the group’s 15th anniversary with a full album titled ‘FOREVER 1,’ which included the title track of the same name.
Aside from music, Yoona also pursued acting. She debuted as an actress in 2008 with ‘You Are My Destiny’. Since then, she had been part of numerous series like ‘Love Rain,’ ‘Prime Minister and I,’ ‘The K2,’ ‘The King is In Love,’ and ‘Big Mouth’.
Most recently, just this year, she starred in the hit romantic drama series ‘King The Land’ with 2PM member Lee Junho.
