The show is set to air in 2024.
GMA Network on Thursday, November 23, formally bared the upcoming historical action-drama series ‘Pulang Araw’. The said program will tackle the events of the Japanese occupation in the Philippines and World War II in the early 1940s.
The drama will be top billed by Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, and David Licauco. Epy Quizon, Angelu De Leon, Rochelle Pangilinan, Rhian Ramos, and Aidan Veneracion.
Dominic Zapata has also been named as the director at helm of this series. Joining him as the series headwriter is Suzette Doctolero, who is behind some of the network’s biggest shows like ‘Encantadia’ and ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’.
The drama is set to premiere sometime in 2024 on GMA.
