Magnitude 4.9 quake hits Infanta, Quezon; tremors felt in Metro Manila
A Magnitude 4.9 quake hit Infanta, Quezon at 11:22 pm on Tuesday. No damage or aftershock is expected due to the said quake.
PHIVOLCS says Intensity V was recorded in Quezon Province, while Intensity II was felt in NCR cities of Manila, Quezon City, San Juan, and Makati.
Moira dela Torre speaks up on allegations thrown at her
Singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre had finally spoken up about the allegations thrown at her by another songwriter, Lolito Go, on Sunday.
In her statement, Moira says that “it is disheartening that I am being questioned and asked to prove my worth as a songwriter and artist.” Moira clarifies that she had “never employed a ghostwriter,” contrary to the accusations.
Moira had also set the record straight and said that she “never cheated on Jason,” pertaining to her estranged husband Jason Marvin Hernandez. She adds “it is unfair that I [Moira] find myself in a position where I have to defend my name and even defend why I did not deserve to be cheated on.”

Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil are over: Ogie Diaz
In his ‘Showbiz Update’ vlog, entertainment columnist and Liza Soberano’s former manager Ogie Diaz reported that the actress has broken up with her longtime beau Enrique Gil.
Ogie says it was Liza’s decision to break-up with Enrique to focus on her career. But Diaz adds that Gil is still eager to continue the relationship.
Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil have yet to give their respective comments on the issue.
The two began as on-screen partners, first in the 2014 primetime series ‘Forevermore,’ where their love team ‘LizQuen’ was formed. Eventually, they ended up becoming a real-life couple.
Cha Eunwoo dedicates moving tribute to fellow ASTRO Moonbin
His cover of the song is filled with a lot of emotions, as it also serves as his personal tribute to late ASTRO member Moonbin.
Early Tuesday morning, at exactly 2:23 am KST, ASTRO member Cha Eunwoo through his official YouTube channel, released his cover of 10cm’s song ‘Stalker.’ Prior to this, Eunwoo went back on Instagram to share a sneak-peek at the behind-the-scenes of the recording video for his version.
Over at his Instagram story, Eunwoo shared a clip of the late fellow ASTRO member and close friend Moonbin singing the same song. In the caption, Eunwoo wrote ‘my friend,’ along with a crescent moon. In the next slide, he also shared some pictures of him and Moonbin together.
After the release of the recording video of Eunwoo’s cover, his name quickly became the top trending topic in Twitter Philippines. Here now is Cha Eunwoo’s version of 10cm’s ‘Stalker.’
Primetime Bida achieves new record-high viewing figures online
May 30 saw three primetime teleseryes of ABS-CBN set new record-high concurrent viewership figures on the network’s Kapamilya Online Live platform on Facebook and YouTube.
First of, ‘FPJ Batang Quiapo’ easily became the most-watched primetime teleserye online as it hit the 400,000 mark for the first time on Tuesday. The show broke its over 370,000 concurrent viewers record on Monday, May 29. It is also now the second-highest concurrent viewership on Kapamilya Online Live, only behind the finale ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ which set a viewership of over 530,000.
Meanwhile, the story isn’t over yet as after ‘FPJBQ,’ its succeeding program ‘The Iron Heart’ also made a record, as it peaked at 300,000 viewers that same evening. This episode breaks the show’s all-time high concurrent viewers pf 267,000+ that it had recorded in the past.
Last but not the least, ‘Dirty Linen’ had also nearly breached the 150K mark on the same night. The revenge series recorded more or less 149,410 live viewers on Tuesday, making it the highest rated third slot drama of ABS-CBN in the platform.
Kapamilya Online Live was launched in August 2020, as ABS-CBN aimed to expand its coverage and reach after the denial of its franchise renewal bid that same year. To date, the platform has recorded a total of more than 600 million live concurrent views since its launch.
Miami Heat enters NBA Finals; to battle it out against Denver Nuggets
The Miami Heat, led by Coach Erik Spoelstra, will return to the NBA Finals, three years after its last appearance. This, as the Heat defeated the Boston Celtics in the Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, 103-84.
With their advancement to the Finals, the Heat will try to clinch their first NBA championship in 10 years, having last won in the 2012-2013 NBA season.
