Salvador joined the show in 2021.
On Thursday, April 13, Maja Salvador’s talent handling firm Crown Artist Management issued a statement. According to Crown, Salvador has left her role as one of the hosts of noontime variety show ‘Eat Bulaga’. This, as she prepares to tie the knot with Rambo Nuñez this July. They also cited the uncertainties surrounding the management of Eat Bulaga as one of the causes for her departure.

However, Crown assured that Maja will only leave “for the time being.” Hinting that she may return after the wedding and the management issues have been sorted out.

Crown Artist Management would like to announce that with Maja Salvador’s upcoming wedding, and with all the uncertainties surrounding Eat Bulaga, she will be leaving the noontime show for the time being.
Becoming a Dabarkads in Eat Bulaga was a dream of Maja that came true one and a half years ago, but for now, we have to give it a pause.
The decision was already communicated to their management, so we’re hoping for your utmost understanding.
Maja wishes Eat Bulaga, its host and staff, all the best!

Salvador joined the Dabarkads in October 2021 as part of the DC 2021 segment of the show. She initially appeared only on Saturdays.
Later on, after the segment had ended, she was promoted as one of the main hosts. She also portrayed ‘Majamog’ in the recurring segment ‘Mga Batang Hamog’, which also included Maine Mendoza, Ryzza Mae Dizon, and fellow Crown Artist Miles Ocampo.
Apart from Salvador, Maine Mendoza is also expected to wed Rep. Arjo Atayde later this year. It is still unknown at the moment whether Mendoza will stay in the program in spite of that.
