Bringing back their well-loved grandmother-grandson dynamics to the screen.
On Thursday, November 5, ABS-CBN primetime series Coco Martin’s Sigabo released a new teaser.
There, the action-dramedy program announced the next guest as Gabo (Coco Martin) continues his adventures as an undercover taxi driver.
The lead actor, who also serves as the director and producer, is having a reunion with award-winning actress Gina Pareño, who is making her TV comeback through this project.
“The veteran actress makes her much-awaited TV comeback where she is set to take on another heartwarming role as Anita/Lola Gets,” ABS-CBN noted in a press statement.
This will bring back their iconic “lola at apo” tandem, as Coco and Gina previously worked together in shows like Tayong Dalawa, and Juan Dela Cruz.
They were last seen on screen in the action series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in 2016, where Gina acted as one of the villains in the first part of the series.
Meanwhile, in the current story of Sigabo, viewers can continue to expect action-packed encounters and kilig scenes between Coco and Julia Montes’ character Gloria/Sam.
Coco Martin’s Sigabo airs weeknights at 8:00 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube at Facebook, and iWant.
