As the group continues to explore their new sound.
On Monday, November 2, Korean pop group TREASURE unveiled their latest digital single entitled Shock.
The new powerful hip-hop track follows the biggest shift in the band’s musical direction, which started with their mini-album New Wav that came out back in June 2026.
In his statement last October, Yang Hyun-suk, the founder of the team’s home label YG Entertainment, said: “As TREASURE moves into 2027 with ‘SHOCK’ and the full-scale activities of their second chapter, I hope you’ll continue to look forward to what’s ahead and show them your love and support.”
Concurrent with the single, the music video that runs for two minutes and 53 seconds was published on the same day. It has since amassed more than 950,000 views on streaming platform YouTube as of this writing.
TREASURE is currently composed of 10 members —Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo, and Junghwan — who made their debut in 2020, a year after the original 12-member line-up was formalized through the survival show YG Treasure Box.
Since then, the team has released singles like Boy, I Love You, Mmm, Jikjin, Bona Bona, and more.
Last April, they brought their Pulse On concert tour to the Philippines, which they staged at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
After that, in June, they went on to gain their first music show win in their career with the single If I.
