Bringing one of the much talked-about afternoon series this year to the platform.
In an announcement post on social media, GMA Network revealed that the top-rated GMA Afternoon Prime series Apoy sa Dugo will be heading to a streaming home soon.
The series, top-billed by Derrick Monasterio, Elle Villanueva, and Ashley Ortega, will be bringing its story about a desperate longing for love and family to Netflix Philippines.
The storyline of Apoy Sa Dugo reads: “Marco (Derrick) and Vanessa (Elle) are a loving couple living the perfect life when Angel (Ashley), Vanessa’s long-lost half-sister, comes into their lives. The latter’s desperate longing for love and family fuels Angel’s obsession to have Vanessa all to herself.”
“When Vanessa discovers all the terrible things she has done, their relationship is forever changed, and this ignites a heated sibling rivalry,” it added.
Also part of this project are Pinky Amador, Ricardo Cepeda, Cai Cortez, Thea Tolentino, Patricia Coma, Larkin Castor, Fonz, and Toniyuh.
Apoy sa Dugo joins the collection of GMA titles already on the platform, led by the leading action series The Master Cutter, as well as the likes of Pulang Araw and Sanggang Dikit-FR.
GMA also noted in a press statement that more Kapuso content will be added to Netflix Philippines’ library soon.
