Sharing how she has gained a “new little bestfriend.”
In a social media post, actress-model Rere Madrid shared some portraits of her as a first-time mother.
In the special set of stills, she is joined by no one else except her own son, Atlas, whom she had given birth to back in September 2026.
Embracing not just him, but motherhood in general, Rere stunned in the photos that were also taken while she was breastfeeding the newborn child.
“From my womb to my arms,” she noted in the caption of the said post.
“There’s no better feeling than falling asleep beside you and waking up to your little face. No matter how tiring the days get, everything feels lighter when I look at you,” Rere continued.
The Kapuso star also expressed her love for her first son with basketball star Kai Sotto and told him, “I’ll forever cherish every moment with you, my baby. I love you so much, Atlas!”
To end, she gave thanks to God for her “new little best friend.”
In the replies section, Kai left a comment that read: “My answered prayers.”
Meanwhile, netizens could not help but notice that the child, who is barely a month old, is already tall compared to the average height of his age. Well, his father is no less than a 7’3″ center, so it comes as no surprise for many.
It was last May 27 when Rere and Kai tied the knot during a garden wedding ceremony held in Cavite. Less than a month after that, on June 22, they announced their pregnancy.
Individually, they have also just completed their respective works, with Rere having just finished her role as Cami in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, while Kai had also ended his stint in the Japan B. League.
