Another strong showing in an international pageant.
On Saturday, October 10, the grand coronation night of Mister Global 2026 was held in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
Representing the Philippines in the said competition is model Myron Jude “MJ” Ordillano, who returns to the international stage after previously competing at Mister International in 2022.
In the said event, 39 delegates from around the world participated for the chance of becoming the next title holder.
The Filipino representative was able to make it through different stages of the competition, such as the sports attire and swim wear rounds.
In the question-and-answer portion, MJ was asked: “In your opinion, which quality is most important in a good man, and why?”
” I believe the best qualities are many things: your morals (and) your values. There’s a lot of things, but I think that should be automatic,” he said.
According to hin, the number one thing is the “unconditional love” that a man gives to others, recalling how he was raised by his grandmother.
“I was raised by my grandmother and I learned that the unconditional love that I give her is not easy. It takes a lot of sacrifice(s) — it is definitely some tough love. But I believe that quality helped me through my life because that is some privilege to give,” he continued.
MJ also said that it is a privilege to be loved by the globe and have the opportunity to love others, whom he might not have even met yet.
Eventually, he made it to the top 3 and was later hailed as this year’s second runner up.
“Thank you so much for supporting me. I was very, very happy to represent the Philippines. I hope I made you proud,” he said in his post-competition message uploaded by the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide organization.
“This is all for you and I love you all,” he added.
MJ also took time to thank the people who have supported him ever since he started his journey in the male pageant circuit a few years ago.
“I just wanna say thank you to everybody who supported me since day one, since four years ago (and) ever since I started this pageant journey of mine.”
He thanked them for their belief in him and helping him out in the ways they fan. “It means so much to me, talaga. Love na love ko kayong lahat at I hope I made you proud,” Ordillano also said.
Winning the Mister Global 2026 title, meanwhile, is Türkiye’s Dilhan Divrikli, while Nigeria’s Bethel Mbamara is the first runner-up.
Coming in as third runner-up is Anthony Moua, who represented the Hmong people, with Venezuela’s Alejandro Quintero closing the top 5 as the fourth runner-up.
