Another record for the Nation’s Girl Group.
In the list of nominees unveiled by children-oriented TV network Nickelodeon for its annual Kids’ Choice Awards this year, it included one of the leading Filipino music acts today.
The Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, was able to score a nomination in the Favorite Global Music Star category, becoming the first Filipino act to do so.
There, they were listed as the representative of Asia and will compete against other big names, led by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift (North America), Tyla (Africa), Karol G (Latin America), Zara Larsson (Europe), Olivia Dean (UK), and Tame Impala (Australia).
According to the official website, voting is open daily until November 13, with the ceremony taking place on November 14.
This is yet another feat for the girl group, who represented the Philippines as the first homegrown act to be invited to perform at the Coachella Music Festival last April, which was followed by an appearance in the Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan last August.
BINI is also set ro continues its Signals world tour this month, with a stop in Singapore on October 25, which will be followed by the tour finale in Taiwan on November 15.
They were also recently Artist of the Year at the Filipino Music Awards 2026.
Meanwhile, their parent company, ABS-CBN, announced that they will he having a BLOOM Membership Day on October 21 (Wednesday), which will have online and offline activities to give their fans the opportunities to interact with the group.
Lucky 88 fans will have the chance to get even closer to their favorite BINI members through fan calls, where a total of 88 BLOOM members will be randomly selected among those who registered on Weverse to enjoy a one-on-one virtual call with a BINI member.
A total of 100 fans, or 20 per session, will also get to watch the live events in person via the Intimate Studio Audience Experience.
Meanwhile, they are also confirmed to be performing at the upcoming LaLaLa Fest at the Philippine Arena on January 14, 2027. It will be headlined by Olivia Dean, together with Lola Amour, Sunkissed Lola, and Up Dharma Down.
BINI will also lead the inaugural Asia Pop Girl Fest alongside global groups HANA and 4EVE, with stops in Chiba, Japan, on January 22–23; Bangkok, Thailand, on February 13; and Manila on February 19.
