Not just one, but four linear TV channels will broadcast the weekly talk show.
In a development to the previous report, the weekend primetime program of actor-entrepreneur Matteo Guidicelli, Matteo G. Primetime, is not going to air only on TV5 starting this Saturday, October 10.
Instead, it will be seen across multiple platforms on linear television, as it will also be carried by ABS-CBN platforms, specifically ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, and Kapamilya Channel.
Confirmed to be the first episode to be airing across its new homes is the series’ actual first episode, which features celebrity couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.
The show first graced screens on both the Bilyonaryo News Channel and the 36-year-old star’s own YouTube channel in April 2026.
In the said program, he sits down with different guests as they converse about personal matters and engage in games that not only bring fun, but also reveal more about them.
The first few installements also saw the appearances of Piolo Pascual, Julia Barretto, Erwan Heussaff, and Nico Bolzico, to name a few.
Matteo G. Primetime has a strong following on YouTube, with viewership hovering within the range of more than 100,000 views in most episodes.
However, in late May, the show was quietly axed by the Bilyonaryo News Channel. While the reason was not revealed, observers noted the surprise appearance of Guidicelli on the TV5 flagship primetime newscast Frontline Pilipinas as the possible reason.
Around that time, Matteo was the showbiz anchor of BNC’s own primetime news show, Agenda, which airs directly opposite TV5’s news show.
He was there to promote his upcoming multi-part documentary series for Cignal TV’s One News and One PH channels entitled The Patriots, which follows the lives of the men and women in duty for the country.
He also announced his special participation in the Kapatid network’s primetime drama series A Secret In Prague, where he reunited with lead star Enrique Gil after last starring together in Dolce Amore and Bagani.
Neither the channel, Matteo, or his agency Viva Artists Agency have issued any statement on the matter since then.
Matteo G. Primetime will begin airing every Saturday at 9:30 pm, right after Maalaala Mo Kaya, on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, and TV5 this October 10.
There will also be a delayed telecast every Monday night at 8:00 pm on ANC.
