An advanced delivery is coming for Kapuso streamers.
On Wednesday, October 7, GMA Network announced details regarding the upcoming premiere of the new GMA Afternoon Prime series Delivery Boi.
The show, top-billed by former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Will Ashley, is set to have an “exclusive online premiere” via the network’s GMA Play app and website.
According to the network, the pilot episode will be seen via its official streaming product on October 17 (Saturday).
That is two days ahead of the show’s broadcast on linear TV platforms such as the flagship channel GMA and Kapuso Stream on October 19 (Monday) at 3:20 pm.
According to the description shared by the network during the project announcement, the 24-year-old actor-singer will portray the titular character named Boi, who is a “street-smart delivery rider who unknowingly inspires fellow riders through quiet acts of kindness despite life’s challenges and relationship troubles.”
Confirmed to be starring alongside him in this project, which is under the direction of Dominic Zapata, are Eric Quizon, Maricar De Mesa, Meryll Soriano, and Mikoy Morales.
He will also be reunited with Keempee De Leon after Prinsesa Ng City Jail, as well as Mika Salamanca and Vince Maristela, whom he both lived together with in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition and co-starred in The Secrets Of Hotel 88.
Delivery Boi will also be Will’s return to the afternoon block, where he was also previously seen through projects like the top-raters Contessa and Prima Donnas.
Meanwhile, in mid-September, the Kapuso star also unveiled his debut album entitled Liham, which was followed shortly by his grand album launch event.
