Host Vice Ganda returns as 10 new contestants join ‘Last One Laughing Philippines’ season 2

On Wednesday, September 30, streaming platform Prime Video dropped the latest teaser of the returning comedy-reality show LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines season 2.

The said local edition of the said format originating from Japan, which dropped its first season on the same platform in 2024, sees the comeback of its host, the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.

That was confirmed through a 15-second teaser that was released on Wednesday.

This time, a whole new set of 10 Filipino comedians will participate as they aim for the grand prize that will be determined during the run of the program.

Included in the said lineup are Epy Quizon, Candy Pangilinan, Long Mejia, Pooh, Ethel Booba, Chariz Solomon, Donna Cariaga, James Caraan, Charuth, and Esnyr.

The rules of the game is simple. The contestants will be locked together inside a room for six hours. They will take turns in making their fellow contestants laugh, but the rule is they, themselves, cannot break as that would also be tantamount to a violation or outright elimination.

In its first season, the cast was composed of Rufa Mae Quinto, Tuesday Vargas, Empoy Marquez, Jayson Gainza, Jerald Napoles, Kim Molina, Pepe Herrera, Negi, Victor Anastacio, and Chad Kinis. Ultimately, the lattermost emerged as the first-ever champion of the format.

Last One Laughing Philippines Season 2 will premiere on Prime Video this October 30.
