At the meet-and-greet event organized on Sunday, September 27 at Farmers Plaza in Cubao, Quezon City, the Filipino male group NEO teased what can fans expect of them at the upcoming 11th PPOP Music Awards.
Luis, Dawn, Blue, Jem, Ryu appeared on stage to perform and also invite fans to the grand gathering of established and up-and-coming P-pop groups.
“For months, we’ve been cooking up something na hindi pa naririnig ng fans namin, ng NEON. And we are very excited to perform this sa PPOP Music Awards,” shared the band’s leader Blue.
As regards to their preparation for the awards show, Jem noted that they have increased frequency of their practices in order to deliver not only their PPMA performance, but also something they will be releasing soon.
Blue also added, “May mga certain parts ‘yung bago naming song na hindi pa namin nagawa before. So, may bago kaming vocal techniques po na hinahanda.”
Member Ryu also said that the song they performed at the meet-and-greet also celebrated its second anniversary the day prior, making this appearance even more special for their band.
The PPOP Music Awards is set to happen on October 18, 2026 (Sunday) at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
