With the “big announcement” set to happen within the next few days.
On Wednesday, September 23, streaming platform Viva One dropped a major teaser as it formally started teasing a groundbreaking project for the over-the-top (OTT) service.
This, as the three-year-old platform is set to finally launch its first-ever Korean drama adaptation.
In the caption of the popping teaser photo, the company teased that the material will be “a very cute story that captured everyone’s hearts around the globe.”
They also announced the date of September 28 (Monday) as the official announcement date for the project, which is widely rumored to be top-billed by two of the phenomenal stars in local showbusiness.
Viva One was launched in January 2023 under its original name Viva Prime. It was touted as the family-friendly alternative to the adult-centric VMX platform.
The said streaming service eventually saw breakout success through the successive and massively hit dramas adapted from various online novels such as the University Series, Ang Mutya Ng Section E, Seducing Drake Palma, and Hell University, among others.
