With the comedy icon continuing to break barriers on Philippine television.
In an interview with her close friend and TV5 anchor Jervi Wrightson, the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda shared some details regarding her future activities.
In an earlier part of the sit-down interview, filmed right after her headline-grabbing performance at the first-ever University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Kick-off Show, the host-comedian revealed that she is open to appearing on the noontime show Eat Bulaga—the archrival of her very own program, It’s Showtime.
This possibility is knocking on the door as she is starring alongside EB mainstay Vic Sotto in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival entry The Greatest Showdown, which had already started filming.
“We both wanna try doing it, pero we have to respect ang mga istasyon na pinagtatrabahuhan natin. Ayaw naman nating may masaktan o may magdamdam. Ipapaalam, at kung papayag, iconic ‘yun, day!” said Vice, who wishes to do it for the audience.
Meanwhile, in another installment of the said one-on-one interview, Vice shared more details about her upcoming project with TV5 and the rest of the Mediaquest Group—following her contract signing last August.
Hailed by the conglomerate’s chairman Manny Pangilinan as the “Queen of All Networks,” Vice said back then to expect “pasabog projects” from her in the Kapatid network, which also currently airs her ABS-CBN weekend game show Everybody, Sing.
Among her upcoming works on TV5 are a reality show and game show.
Vice said that she wants to work with the roster of young talents of the network.
“Madami akong gustong makatrabaho, lalo na ‘yung mga bagets kasi nakakahiram ka ng energy kapag kasama mo sila. You feel young and you learn from them,” she said.
Among the many talents of or associated with TV5, she listed the likes of Dylan Menor, Ashtine Olviga, Enrique Gil, and Andrea Brillantes.
On her project with TV5, she assured that it will be big and will not be “basic or ordinary program.” Vice also confirmed that due to her packed schedule, the said project will commence in January 2027.
Aside from her daily work on It’s Showtime and Everybody, Sing, the host-comedian is also seen every late Sunday evening through her comebacking talk show Gandang Gabi Vice, which made its comeback last September 13 on GMA and iWant.
