Nine months after his last music release.
On Monday, September 7, Korean singer-rapper Minho of the legendary group SHINee unveiled his sophomore mini-album. Entitled Make It Hot, the said extended play features the namesake lead single.
Accompanying it is a music video that runs for two minutes and 35 seconds that has reached more than 200,000 views on streaming platform YouTube.
Apart from it, also included in the said mini-album are Liquid (which features Belle of KISS OF LIFE), Love Me Now, Time 1.1, Out Of My Hands, and Ending Scene.
Minho made his debut, along with the other members of SHINee, in May 2008. The band is known for their popular singles Replay, Ring Ding Dong, Sherlock, Lucifer, View, 1 of 1, and Tell Me What To Do, among others.
In 2022, the 34-year-old dropped his first extended play entitled Chase, which was followed by the studio album Call Back in 2024 and the single Tempo in 2025.
He has also successfully carved his own path in acting by starring in dramas like To The Beautiful You, Hwarang, Yumi’s Cells, and Fabulous, among others. The K-pop star was most recently seen in the series Romance In The House in 2024, where he portrayed the role of Nam Tae-pyeong.
