He has released more of his solo music.
On Monday, September 7, K-pop soloist Evan, also known as Heeseung, unveiled his first solo mini-album entitled Death Of Me.
This extended play, according to his home label, it conveys a “confident message of taking hold of the reins of intertwined emotions and moving forward.“
The agency also noted that the 25-year-old participated in the overall production of the album, which “expresses his honest inner self and steadfast determination for the future through a diverse range of sounds.”
Simultaneous with the release of the mini-album, the official music video of the namesake lead single, which runs for three minutes and 12 seconds, was uploaded onto streaming platform YouTube.
As of this writing, the clip has reached more than 590,000 views on the said platform.
Also included in this mini-album are the songs Ride Or Die—which was released in June as a pre-release single, Not Enough, Noise, Twilight, Immature, Overflow, and Going Home.
Evan made his debut with the band ENHYPEN as his former stage name Heeseung in 2020 after becoming part of the final line-up created following the conclusion of the survival-reality show I Land that same year.
In March 2026, he departed the band to pursue becoming a soloist, with BELIFT LAB noting before his debut that he has consistently showcased his creative range through songwriting and production.
They also disclosed that the name EVAN “captures an alternate dimension of his identity and represents the essence of his musical artistry.“
Through this persona, the label said, he aims to share a sound shaped entirely by his own unique color and emotional depth.
