It is the latest to be delivered to the company, which is also the first and only (to date) to operate the plane type in Southeast Asia.
Last Wednesday, September 2, the latest plane of flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.
With the registration number RP-C3513, it arrived at 7:22 pm after it took off from the Airbus’ delivery center in Toulouse, France.
“The latest addition further strengthens the flag carrier’s long-haul fleet and reinforces its commitment to providing customers with a world-class travel experience,” said PAL in its statement.
The model is PAL’s flagship aircraft and is mainly deployed for long-haul operations, such as flights between Manila and its growing network in the United States and Canada, such as San Francisco, New York and Toronto.
The A350-1000 is configured in a 382-seat, three-class layout featuring private Business Class suites with sliding privacy doors, a dedicated Premium Economy cabin, and an enhanced Economy Class designed for long-haul journeys.
Aside from that, the aircraft also offers improved fuel efficiency, lower carbon emissions, and enhanced operational performance compared with previous-generation aircraft, according to the airline.
RP-C3513 is the fourth of the first batch of nine Airbus A350-1000 aircraft ordered by Philippine Airlines in 2023 as part of its ongoing fleet modernization and international growth strategy.
The first three arrived in Manila in December 2025, May 2026, and July 2026.
Meanwhile, at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom last July, PAL announced orders for nine additional Airbus A350-1000s and 15 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, with options for five more of each aircraft type.

“As the first and currently the only airline in Southeast Asia to operate the Airbus A350-1000, Philippine Airlines has experienced firsthand the aircraft’s exceptional range, fuel efficiency, reliability, and passenger comfort.”
He also added that the plane has expanded the airline’s reach across North America and deliver the “world-class travel experience our customers deserve.”
PAL is awaiting the delivery of the six remaining jets in its initial order of nine from 2023 and iexpects this second batch of Airbus A350-1000 orders to be delivered between 2034 and 2036.
The Philippine Airlines is the only full-service network airline and operates scheduled nonstop flights from its hubs in Manila and Cebu to 29 destinations across the Philippines and 40 destinations in Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
