On Friday, September 4, Blackpink member Jisoo unveiled her new solo music. The 31-year-old personality issued the lead single of her upcoming solo album—the title of which has yet to be revealed.
On the same day, the music video for the track, which is under the direction of Joseph Kahn and was shot in Thailand, was also published. At present, it has already amassed over 7 million views on YouTube.
This marks Jisoo’s first solo comeback since releasing the extended play Amortage in February 2025, which carried the lead single Earthquake.
Later that year, she collaborated with former One Direction member Zayn Malik for the song Eyes Closed.
Jisoo debuted in 2016 as part of the third-generation K-pop group Blackpink, along with fellow members Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé.
In 2023, she dropped the single album titled Me, which featured the viral hit song Flower. The following year, in 2024, she established her own label named Blissoo.
Aside from music, she also has an active career in acting, having starred as Eun Young Ro in Snowdrop in 2021, followed by Newtopia and most-recently, Boyfriend On Demand.
