After showcasing her wit and “Beauty with a purpose” in the Head-to-Head challenge, Asia Rose Simpson, the Philippines’ representative to the Miss World 2026 pageant showed another strength in the talent competition.
The 18-year-old beauty queen, who is a contemporary dancer, delivered a “powerful dance performance telling the story of feeling lost and finding her way through faith,” the organization said in a post containing a clip of her routine.
Through which, Asia secured third place in the Talent Competition, which was won by Grace Richardson (England), while Annaelle Ibo (Guadeloupe) was declared runner-up.
Meanwhile, after finishing as the regional winner for the Asia and Oceania in the Head-to-Head round, Asia is now part of the Top 40.
However, together with with Miss Trinidad & Tobago winning for the Americas & Caribbean, Miss South Africa for Africa, and Miss Germany for Europe, they are set to gobagainst each other once more for the chance of proceeding directly to Top 20.
aqsia also performs strongly in other parts of the competition, as she made it to the Top 60 of the Model challenge, and Top 24 in Sports.
Prior to being hailed as Miss World Philippines last January, Asia has been making her way to the top of the pageantry world.
She also previously competed in the Miss Teen USA 2023 and represented New Mexico in that edition.
In Miss World 2026, Simpson will aim for the country’s elusive second crown 13 years after actress Megan Young won the first one in 2013.
