That is what actress Bea Alonzo said in the comments section of the short video that was posted by celebrity photographer BJ Pascual.
The said clip was taken during their trip with several other personalities to China. There, she fully embraced being Asia’s Woma, a title given to her by netizens on social networking platforms, as she did a new version of the cover performance that started it all.
Lip-syncing to her own version of Doja Cat’s 2020 hit single Woman, Alonzo, together with Pascual, Anne Curtis, Gabbi Garcia, Bretman Rock, Camille Co, and Rei Germar, showed how much fun they are having.
The group, together with beauty queen Kylie Versoza, are currently on a trip to China, which is primarily a collaboration between Bea’s luggage and accessories brand BASH and Anne’s BLK Cosmetics.
As for the meme, it came from the box-office actress’ performance on the GMA variety show All-Out Sundays in 2023, when she promoted her series Love Before Sunrise.
It was resurfaced by a user on TikTok, with the video having garnered over 338,000 views and counting.
Later on, more video clips of Bea’s past performances were brought up, leading to her being given the made-up title of Asia’s Woma—drawn upon the repetitive lyrics in the chorus of Doja Cat’s song.
Meanwhile, she is also considered the “woma” of the hour, as her recent wedding with businessman Vincent Co last July stunned the public. Bea even called the current season of her life as her “happiest.”
Following the wedding, however, the couple continued their day-to-day activities, with Alonzo filming the upcoming GMA series Whispers From Heaven, while Co continuing to dispense his duties in their family-run company.
