‘LaLaLa Fest’ lands in the Philippines

One of Indonesia’s biggest music festival is finally here.

On Friday, August 21, the World Trade Center in Pasay City is a hive of activities as the Indonesian music festival LaLaLa Fest holds its inaugural edition in the country for the first time.

The said festival will see a mix of foreign and local acts taking the stage, led by the likes of Rex Orange County, Steve Lacy, Two Door Cinema Club, Flo, Dermot Kennedy, and Matthew Ifield.

Representing the Philippine music scene are leading OPM (original Filipino music) personalities such as Ben&Ben, Maki, Over October, and Dilaw. Fitterkarma, Isyana Saravat, Kiki, and Hoa are all part of the list as well.

Prior to this, on Thursday, August 20, Rex Orange County held an exclusive Asia show at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, where he was joined by Maki and Over October.

After Manila, the LaLaLa Fest will happen in its home country, with a two-day event happening at the Jakarta International Expo on August 22 and 23 (Saturday and Sunday).

Some of the artists that will be present there are Rex Orange Country, Steve Lacy, HONNE, Matt Maltese, and BE:FIRST, among many others.
