It is their first comeback as an official six-member team.
On Friday, August 21, Korean boy band ENHYPEN made their long-awaited second comeback this year with the release of their latest extended play.
Entitled The Sin: Bliss, this new record serves as the follow-up to their prior mini-album, The Sin: Vanish, which was issued last January.
According to their home label BELIFT LAB, this album explores the “dramatic climax of two lovers who broke the ultimate taboo of vampire society and chose a life on the run.”
“Moving past the refuge of their previous record, the vampire lovers face mounting threats once again. Yet amid the turmoil, they arrive at a powerful realization: being together is the ultimate ‘bliss.’,” they added.
For this comeback, the reorganized lineup comprising Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-Ki present new songs led by the title track, Bloody Paradise.
Meanwhile, also included in this mini-album are the songs Two Fools, Stuck, Bad For You, Checkmate, and Highlight.
This marks the team’s first comeback after the departure of Heeseung last March, who wnet on to debut as a solo artist under his pseudonym Evan last June.
ENHYPEN was formed through the survival reality show I-Land and made their official debut in November 2020.
Since then, they have released multiple successful extended plays and albums, which featured songs like Given-Taken, Tamed-Dashed, Polaroid Love, Bite Me, XO (Only If You Say Yes), and No Doubt.
The band is also set to return to the Philippines this October to stage a “fun meeting” in comjunction with a food and beverage brand that they are endorsing.
