The blockbuster tandem will return to the big screen soon.
On Friday, August 14, production house Quantum Films announced the two lead stars of its upcoming film written by the tandem of Chris Martinez and Therese Anne Cayba.
Entitled A Perfect Marriage, the movie’s intriguing logline was revealed earlier in the week. “Science can help create life. But it cannot define love. It cannot determine who ultimately becomes family.”
Tapped to lead this film are Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, who were seen in an image released by the company to further drum up interest.
“What makrs it work? What makes you stay?” they asked in the caption this time.
Currently, other details about the film are still kept under wraps.
A Perfect Marriage will be the latest in the slate of successful partnerships between Kim and Paulo over the years.
The two previously starred together in the hit infidelity-themed series Linlang in 2023, which was later followed by the Philippine adaptation of What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? in 2024.
In 2025, they would charm audiences on the big screen through the movie My Love Will Make You Disappear, which raked in over PHP173 million in the box office, as well as their suspense-thriller series The Alibi—which aired its TV version earlier this year.
The tandem will also be seen in the upcoming series Kopino, which will debut on Prime Video in November 2026.
