From being a Kapamilya and Kapuso, she is also now a Kapatid.
On Wednesday, August 12, MediaQuest chairman Manny Pangilinan and President and CEO Ricky Vargas welcomed into the the group one of the biggest showbiz personalities in the country.
This, as the company that owns assets such as TV5, True FM, Cignal TV, Philippine Star, and many others, has signed a historic partnership deal with the Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar, Vice Ganda.
The ceremonial signing event was held at The Lighthouse at Meralco Center in Pasig, which has been described as a key venue within Pangilinan’s business ecosystem.
“This partnership brings together one of the country’s most formidable media groups and a defining figure in Philippine entertainment and pop culture, marking a new chapter in Vice Ganda’s career as the ‘Queen of All Networks’,” the media conglomerate shared in a statement.
“Together, MediaQuest and Vice Ganda look forward to creating bigger and more meaningful entertainment experiences for Filipino audiences across platforms, formats and territories,” it added.
For her part, Vice said during the signing, “Thank you (MediaQuest) very much for your trust, believing in me and (that) I can offer something to your group. I’m just so grateful and super excited to be able to unleash every ounce of creativity, hardwork, and passion that is still left in my soul.”
She furthered, “Ilang taon niyo na rin akong araw-araw na napapanood sa telebisyon, pero naniniwala pa rin akong meron pa akong maibibigay at maibubuga.”
Vice also noted that through MediaQuest’s platforms, she feels more free to deliver her brand of entertainment.
“Natutuwa ako na sa mga karagdagang plataporma na meron po kayo (MediaQuest), e mas magiging malaya ako at magkakaroon ng pribilehiyo na makapagbigay ng magandang serbisyo sa mga mamamayang Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng kind of entertainment na mai-o-offer ko,” said the TV host-comedian.
The icon also did not forget to express her gratitude to her home network, ABS-CBN, with whom she has just renewed her ties in the past week and also said that the company will continue to be part of her projects and partnerships.
“I’m also very grateful to ABS-CBN for every learning at experience na meron ako ngayon sa lahat ng mai-o-offer ko na nagsimula sa kanila (ABS-CBN). I’m just very happy na sa mga partnerships ko now and the future, ABS-CBN is still and will always be part of every content that I will be doing.”
Vice also thanked Manny Pangilinan for letting her extend her talents to the Kapatid audiences, although she also looked back on a “not so happy experience” that she, along with the rest of the noontime variety program It’s Showtime had in the past with TV5.
“Masaya lang ako kasi (even though) we did not have a not so happy experience in the past because, as we all know, Showtime used to air on TV5 and then suddenly, nawala. It broke my heart at that time,” she admitted.
Nonetheless, the superstar told that like all wounds, hers took time to heal and is now excited to form a good relationship after a heartbreak.
“Pero ngayon, nakakatuwa na, s’yempre, ang heartbreak, nag-heheal, nagkakaroon ng maraming learnings at puwedeng makabuong magandang relationship pa after a heartbreak.”
At present, the project of the Unkabogable Superstar with the MediaQuest group has not yet been revealed. Although, apart from It’s Showtime, Vice is also hosting the weekend game show Everybody, Sing, which also airs on a simulcast basis on TV5.
She will also top-bill the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival 2026 entry entitled The Greatest Showdown with Vic Sotto, who also hosts the TV5 noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Meanwhile, during her ABS-CBN contract signing last August 7, Vice personally confirmed that she also has a project lined up with GMA Network, where It’s Showtime currently airs, and it will be produced by ABS-CBN Studios.
However, details about the Kapuso project has yet to be formally announced.
