Details are still kept under wraps at the moment.
During the renewal of her network contract on Friday, August 7, TV host-comedian Vice Ganda teased one of the projects that will commence very soon.
The showbiz icon, who is seen every noon on It’s Showtime and weekend primetime on Everybody, Sing, disclosed that she is set to start a new one.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, she revealed that she already has a project lined up for her under ABS-CBN Studios that will air on GMA Network, which also simulcasts It’s Showtime.
“Next month, nakalinyang bagong project (para) sa akin sa GMA at marami pang mga susunod…” revealed the superstar.
While she did not disclose anything pertaining to the said material, it has triggered speculations amongst her fans and other netizens.
Many, who were thrilled by this project of Meme, noted that this could mean the comeback of her long-running weekly talk show Gandang Gabi, Vice, which aired from 2011 to 2020.
That possibility is not remote, though, as Vice personally confirmed last January the imminent return of the show.
During her appearance at the InkBlot campus journalism program at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), she said: “Magbabalik na ang GGV.”
In 2023, the It’s Showtime host had a question-and-answer session with her fans on X, formerly Twitter, where she entertained queries about GGV.
Onw viewer asked, “What’s stopping ABS-CBN para ibalik ang GGV? Super entertaining ng GGV huhu.”
Vice responded at that time, “I was actually asked by the management when i signed my new contract if I wanted to do GGV again.” But she disclosed that she is unable to do multiple programs at the same time, given that she was still doing the game show Everybody, Sing that time.
“Baka pagtapos ng Everybody Sing let’s see kung keri ko na. Pero seasonal na lng. Di ko na keri ung another 10 years,” she said.
Vice also confirmed then that the decision to end Gandang Gabi, Vice stemmed from the fact that guests started to get repetitive. “Nagsawa na din ako sa paulit ulit na guests. Isa yun sa mga rason kaya I decided to sign off.”
But referencing the collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA, especially concerning It’s Showtime, Vice told back then “…mukhang mas malalim na ang balon ng guests kasi sanib pwersa na ang mga networks (hopefully).”
Meanwhile, apart from TV, she is also set to star in a powerhouse collaboration with Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto for the upcoming comedy movie The Greatest Showdown, which is one of the four confirmed entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival in December 2026.
