The TV host-comedian remains a proud Kapamilya.
On Friday, August 7, Asia’s Unkabogable Phenomenal Box-Office Superstar, Vice Ganda, formally signed a new network contract with ABS-CBN.
Present during the renewal of the It’s Showtime host’s ties with the Kapamilya network are executives led by its Chairman Mark Lopez, President and Chief Executive Officer Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, and Chief Financial Offier Ricardo Tan.
Also seen in a photo uploaded by Vice on social media is former ABS-CBN chairman Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the 50-year-old comedy icon said, “I am very, very happy na… actually, kahit wala naman akong contract, habambuhay naman na akong Kapamilya. Pero, isang malaking honor and privilege na matawag na Kapamilya.”
She also affirmed that she will remain to be seen in productions of ABS-CBN, which are being carried by different channels and platforms.
For Vice, the noontime variety program It’s Showtime is aired across ALLTV2, A2Z, and GMA Network on free TV, while her weekend gameshow Everybody, Sing! is carried by ALLTV and A2Z, alongside TV5.
“Masaya ako na isa pa rin ako sa pinipili nila na magdala ng pangalan nila at mga contents nila ipinapalabas sa iba’t-ibang platforms,” she added, affirming that all her projects will have the association of ABS-CBN.
Aside from television, she is also slated to return to cinemas this December as she is set to do a powerhouse collaboration with Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto in The Greatest Showdown, which is one of the four confirmed entries to the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
