As the hit microdrama series brings kilig to viewers for another season.
Last July 30, the hit vertical romance series The Chambermaid’s Daughter debuted strongly on streaming service iWant.
The series, which stars Alexa Ilacad and Gelo Rivera, captured viewers’ hearts anew as they topped the most-watched charts of the platforms in the Philippines and second globally.
On social media, the series also received a warm reception from netizens, with topics IWANT GELEX TCD 2 and GELEX TCD2iWant TopONE being among the top-trending spots on X.
The second season follows Hannah (Alexa) as she becomes VP of operations at the very hotel she once served and is now reunited with her affluent family.
In addition, she is now in a relationship with hotel COO Daniel (Gelo), but she faces a new test in their relationship as she needs to prove her worth to her future mother-in-law and her ambitious half-sister.
The first part of The Chambermaid’s Daughter season 2 is set to premiere on July 30 (Thursday), while the second part will stream starting August 14 (Friday) on iWant.
The first five episodes will be available for free on iWant and ABS-CBN Entertainment’s Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube pages.
Meanwhile, episodes 6 to 30 are available to stream through iWant’s subscription plans—which start at P35 per month in the Philippines, and USD 4.99 per month in the United States (promo price until July 31, 2026) and for the rest of the world.
The first season of The Chambermaid’s Daughter was also a success, as it consistently listed in iWant’s most-watched charts and garnered millions of views for its first five episodes released for free on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
This series among iWant’s growing vertical drama offerings, which include the most recent rom-com hit Will You Fake Marry Me? starring JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, and the affair drama Twist of Fate with Yen Santos, Rafael Rosell, Tony Labrusca, and Angelica Lao.
