He is set to return to the Philippines after a long time.
In a poster unveiled on Tuesday, August 4, Filipino clothing brand Bench announced that its product ambassador, Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun, will be having a special event in the Philippines in the coming months.
The 38-year-old is set to hold a fan meeting on October 2, 2026 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, with details regarding the tickets yet to be revealed by the organizers.
His last visit to the country was over two years ago, in June 2024, for his Eyes On You fanmeet that was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
This upcoming event, meanwhile, is one of his first few activities since resuming his partnership with Bench last July, when he was personally visited on the set of his campaign photoshoot by the brand’s owner, Ben Chan.
That campaign was also his first after getting back into the limelight after he was embroiled in a major scandal involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron in 2025.
It later became a subject of a legal challenge, where the actor filed a defamation case against a certain Kim Se-ui after his posts were found to be false by authorities. He was also recently cleared of any violations under the Child Welfare Act of South Korea.
Kim Soo Hyun began his career in 2007 and starred in multiple popular TV series like Dream High, Moon Embracing The Sun, My Love From The Star, The Producers, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, and Queen of Tears.
