After insistent demand from local Czennies, the K-pop group is finally making their way back to the Philippines this year.
In a poster unveiled on Friday, July 31, Filipino fans of the Korean pop group NCT 127 were given a special announcement to cap the month.
This, as the group currently promoting as a quintet — composed of Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan — will head to Manila this December 12 as part of their fifth tour entitled Neo City: The Redline.
The show in the country, which was one of the newly-added stops, will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City and will be their first concert in the Philippines after more than two years.
Prior to this, they brought their Neo City: The Unity tour to the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan in January 2024.
Although, at present, relevant details regarding the event have not yet been revealed by organizers.
Apart from Manila, the tour also includes shows in Seoul, where it will kick off with a three-day show at the KSPO Dome in September, followed by Jakarta, Hong Kong, Saitama, and Bangkok.
Following their return to the Philippines, the team will move to Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and Macau.
NCT 127 was originally introduced in July 2016 as a permanent sub-unit and released over the years songs like Cherry Bomb, Regular, Kick It, Sticker, Favorite, and 2 Baddies, among others.
Previously, Mark and Winwin, who both recently departed their parent label SM Entertainment and the band, were also part of this unit.
In the interim, the group will promote as a five-member line-up as Doyoung and Jungwoo are still fulfilling their mandatory military service.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment also recently announce that the members have all renewed their contracts with the agency.
